Your child will receive homework every night. Below you will find the homework for your child.
Monday- Write the words 3 times each and study
Tuesday- Use the words in a complete sentence.
**Make sure your sentences are 2nd grade sentences**
Wednesday- Break the words up into syllables
example- backpack back/pack
Thursday- Put the words in ABC order
Friday- TEST DAY!!
Make sure you are studying EVERY NIGHT
Your child will receive nightly homework in phonics and skills that we are learning through our program, CoreKnowledge.
I will incorporate Science, Social Studies, and Healthy through writing tasks, worksheets, or projects. These subjects will not receive homework on a nightly basis.
In addition to the daily worksheets, please have your child work on Study Island, which is located on the tab next to homework titled, Educational Resources.
More importantly, make sure you are reading with your child EVERY NIGHT
